…final stop in Pennsylvania. State #14 of 50-States-Before-They-Graduate. Check out our Mid-Eastern States Itinerary.

As our final stop before heading to Ohio, we visited Hersey’s Chocolate World in Hershey, PA.

We took a trip through Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Tour, a free amusement ride that shows you the process of making Hershey Chocolate.

Warning:  The Hershey Cows’ Hershey Milk Chocolate song will get stuck in your head… permanently!

We also enjoyed a Hershey Chocolate Factory Mystery 4-D experience where our children played the big stars in the storyline (having been trained in all things espionage during our trip to Washington, DC)…

…and we took the Hershey Trolley Works Tour, which was not just informative, but also incredibly fun and hilarious!

Although the entire trip was a blast, I think we all enjoyed making our own chocolate bars the most!  In most photos the boys are jumping up and down so much that they’re just one big blur!

Immediately, we unwrapped our chocolate bars and gorged ourselves, which made us all quite sick in the end… I have never eaten so much chocolate in my life!

There’s no doubt about it!  Hershey’s Chocolate World was one sweet end to a great state!

Our family aims to visit all 50 states together before our boys graduate from high school.  To take a look at some of the places we’ve been, visit our Traveling America posts.  Feel free to leave your comments and suggestions for your favorite state(s), or virtually visit the other states we’ve visited to offer your recommendations on those pages!  We’d love to read about your own family’s adventures… or to simply know about destinations you’ve enjoyed!
